Paces support children and adults living with Neurological Conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, MS, Stroke, Parkinsons and Brain Injury.
Making life-changing steps every day and supporting those who may have otherwise been told there is no more hope for their future prospects.
From teaching children to walk, sit, stand, eat and be as independent as possible all in an environment they can be comfortable, build friendships and feel like they belong.
The life-changing support also extends to adults who may have lost their ability to walk, sit, stand and be as independent as they have always been due to their condition. Paces work with them to regain that independence through Conductive Education and ensure their outlook moving forward is more positive.
Supporting The Cooper Street Kids who come from a very poor community based in Swelledam, South Africa. The children are fed daily by a lady called Cynthia Tobias from her own private home. Cynthia welcomes these children into her home with open arms and most children come from backgrounds where they may not get a meal each day. The Cooper Street Kids can seek refuge and play as children should play, and they each receive a nice hot meal and feel safe in her home.
Geoff’s Dad, Uncle, and some friends and neighbours have all been cared for at the Hospice. It is a warm and welcoming space for adults facing life limiting illness. It provides care, comfort and compassionate support to patients and their loved ones. Switched On Solutions are proud members of the East Cheshire Hospice 500 Club and we do a long distance sponsored walk each year to raise much needed funds for this wonderful place.
